How do you e-file form 56, Notice Concerning Fiduciary Relationship in Lacerte? We need to file form 56 so they accept the 4506-T that's already faxed.

Don't know if 4506-T would change it, but when I file Form 56, I scan the signed form to pdf and attach to the return for efiling with Lacerte's Electronic Filing function (Screen 2.2 for Fiduciary returns).

Based on my phone call with Lacerte Customer Service yesterday, Lacerte does not have a way to electronically file a 56 without also filing a tax return. No stand alone form 56 electronic filing.

I misunderstood your objective.  Lacerte is correct.  Form 56 can't be efiled by itself.
