Does anyone know when the IRS will re-open e-filing in January 2021 for Lacerte tax returns?

Congratulations! You are the lucky winner for being the 800th poster of this question. Ok, maybe, that's an exaggeration but it isn't far and there's no prize either.

At this point, no one knows the exact date but there are wagers for the exact date (which you can't buy into). Yes, that's it. The 25th to the 29th. Just like any other normal year. Because we know that 2021 will be just another normal year. Well, as much as we know that Congress won't pass tax legislation affecting 2020 before the end of the year.
