Does Form 1310 need to be signed when e-filing?

On a final form 1040 for a deceased taxpayer, does form 1310 need to be signed by the executor of her estate and attached (uploaded) as a pdf file? Or is it considered electronically signed by the fact that it is included in the e-filed tax return?

I have never attached a pdf of the 1310 and I have never had any issues.

I don't think I have ever SUCCESSFULLY completed a return with a Form 1310. Answering questions correctly results in rejection; answering questions incorrectly results in errors.

FUG IT. Paper filed them all.

The more I know the more I don’t know.
