I have a client who has changed one of the emails for e-file authorization twice, and now they have changed deductions which changed tax liability over 25%

How do I void the second eSig request

If they've signed and it's completed, you can't void it.

If they haven't signed: two ways to void.

  1. From the Clients view, make sure you have the "eSig Status" column showing. Click on the "sent" hyperlink, and a window will pop-up with a button/link to void one of them.
  2. From the eSignature Dashboard view, in the "Actions" column, click the down-arrow next to the box of the one you want to void, and a "void" option should be available.

Heads up, the client will get an email that you voided it. So if they are the skittish or clueless type, I'd send an email to let them know so that they don't panic think you fired/canceled them entirely (even though it sounds like this one of yours would deserve it).
