Do anyone have the estimaed tax issue, the es tax amount is different(changed) after convert to 2022.

for example, we set the ES tax payment for $1000 each quarer when file 2021 tax return, but the amount is change when I open my 2022 tax return, it changed to $995 or $1008 something.

If the returns aren't locked, and the computer being used to proforma has different options set than the computer used to create the return did, you can get weird stuff like that. On a go-forward basis, lock the returns the moment they're e-filed.

I used to encounter this occasionally when I would run a "What if?" calculation after season using the client's most recent tax return and then forgetting to remove the "What if" entries.  

I now lock the return after the e-file is accepted and make a copy to run my off season calculations.
