diagnostic 55410 requires a country on form 1116
form 1116 requires a country and it is from a mutual fund and they do not name a country, instead they advise to put RIC in that field. Lacerte does not allow us to do that.
The detail from Vanguard states that the dividends are from US Corps they are considered US source dividends. So the Foreign tax withheld.
What do I do to get past this critical diagnostic?
