Critical Diagnostic: Resident State required to track e-file returns
I have been filing Oregon tax returns all season. Today, for the first time, the following critical diagnostic showed up:
"e-file: The Resident State as of 12/31/2023 is required to track state e-file returns. (ref. #5636)"
When I click on the jump to input it just takes me to the Client Info page where their state is selected and their state return is selected for e-file.
I've never seen this diagnostic before nor is it clear what it's asking me to update, if anything. Has anyone else encountered this? Can I file with this not cleared?
