I have answered the question in Screen 3.1 (forgiveness granted and as of date filed) and attached the statement required for the PPP loan forgiveness (Tax Year 12/31/2021 Form 1120-S) to the Form 1120-S in PDF e-file screen. This critical diagnostic still shows up. What's going wrong with my Lacerte entries and attachments?

You have to put the dollar amount in, in addition to the rest. Then Lacerte generates the statement and clears the diagnostic. No PDF attachment required.

(Is the forgiven amount already entered in the income screen? Yes, yes it is.)

I am still having this critical diagnostic show up - dollar amounts have been entered - any suggestions ?

I am having this same issue when preparing a 2023 Form 1065, using the "2023 Taxable Year" fields. The diagnostic disappears when I use the "2022 Taxable Year" fields. Look like the coding needs to be updated for 2023.

I am having the same issue with the 2023 1120S. The diagnostic disappears when I use the 2022 Taxable Year fields. Did an update resolve your issue for the 2023 Form 1065?
