Can you e-file a locked return with Lacerte or do you need to unlock before submitting to E-file?

You need to unlock the return to E-File.  This will reprocess the return with the current version of the software.  You should double check your return before you E-File to make sure nothing has changed.  Currently E-File is closed.

      I don't lock them until I get the efile acceptance.
