CA Non-resident withholding special allocation - state only
Form 565 - After specially allocating CA nonresident withholding as usual, noticed that those partners who did not have withholding were showing NEGATIVE withholding. So I specially allocated "-1" (for zero) to those partners, which worked for those partners EXCEPT the rounding partner, which showed a negative for the entire partnership nonresident withholding. Total Withholding is entered on Screen 38.011. This is how we've always done this with no problems.
Looks like a tech glitch. Lacerte support - any resolution?
