CA Form 8879
For 2021 I am now getting CA Form 8453 AND CA Form 8879 printing automatically. This has never happened before. Unless I've got this completely wrong the CA 8453 is utilized when a client hand signs the form and returns it to me for e-filing. This is the case for ALL of my clients. The CA 8879 is now printing for the first time and I cannot suppress it. Right now I am throwing them away.
Am I missing something? I've called Lacerte about this and got nowhere other than an agent telling me they would "put a note in my file" but refused to elevate/ask anyone else about this.
