Can a part year AZ taxpayer take a $200 tax credit for a contribution to A

Z public schools?  Even if they have no tax liability?

The credit can be claimed.  But it is nonrefundable, so it gets carried over to 2025 and (if still available) future years.  With the flat income tax rate of 2.5%, you need to make sure there is enough taxable income to justify the amount donated.
