AZ partnership initial short-year Lacerte won't efile
this is the first year for a critical diagnostic & cannot efile AZ partnership "short-year"; 2020 is the initial year 9/1/20-12/31/20 but Lacerte efile critical diagnostic states have to paper file "per AZ instructions". I looked at AZ 165 instructions: paper file IF short year in 2021 being filed on year 2020 form. I'm filing short year 2020 on year 2020 form! AZ initial short-year efiled fine in 2019 Lacerte so I think 2020 has a bug that needs fixed. Admin at office called Lacerte tech support & was told "have to paper file AZ short-year" so I don't think tech support understands.
Does Lacerte tech support ever look at issues posted here? I wish I could email them directly instead of having to call.
