Question

Anyone had an issue with the NYS PTET credit in the individual? The program forces addback to be same number as the credit. This is impossible for a cash basis taxpayer

Form IT-201 Line 23 has to be the same as Line 71 This makes no sense

    Maryland does the same thing.

    I’ve been on the phone with the 4 times about this.

    they had a work around last year that doesn’t exist this year.

    i told them the problem is not going to be unique to me

    There is no way I’m not taking the full credit 

    if I adjust the add back to equal the credit I’m getting correspondence from the state

    All the answers are bad
