Alabama wash sales issue

When entering wash sales on the Federal return, they carryover to Alabama Schedule D&E as a negative number in "subsequent improvements". Now I can't e-file the return. Is this correct or is there some way to override it from flowing there?

    I have used the e-file checking bypass and submitted the return.

    I have not received a rejection from the state.

    That was a 2020 issue however I gave up and paper filed the AL return. Same issue this year and my client will paper file AL again. I can't figure out any  other way.
