How do get form 8606 to generate?  On input screen #24 I have entered $7,000 as the amount of the contribution and entered a #2 to force with filing 1040. Please let me know what I need to do to get the Form 8606 to generate.  thanks

Did you designate the $7,000 as a nondeductible IRA contribution?

The more I know the more I don’t know.

I did but I believe that is an override and I don't like to do overrides.  Is there a way to get the form 8606 to generate without overrides?
