Lacerte has an entry point for 8288-A.  The buyer's id is required for e-file but in many cases the buyer refuses to provide id to the seller.  Does anyone know any workarounds?

You're looking in Screen 58.3? I don't see anything related to the buyer there - you need the withholding agent's ID, but that's on the 8288-A you have in hand.

Buyer = Withholding agent.  In most cases buyer's (withholding agent's) id is redacted.
