2025 Individual Tax Organizer

It appears the 2025 tax organizer has not been updated to deal with the OBB Act changes such as deductible automobile loan interest expense deduction, etc.

Is there going to be an updated version for the 2025 organizer or are we stuck with the current version available?

I think we should all be helping boost this post to help it be seen by the powers that be... If we are stuck making all updates to the questionnaire ourselves, that will be a huge undertaking and a major "miss" on Intuit's part.

Yes, thank you. I've used Lacerte for many years and love it. However, given the price we pay for the Lacerte software, it is extremely frustrating. The 2025 tax organizer is unacceptable and I would hope that Intuit will modify it ASAP.

I have downloaded the lastest 2024 and 2025 updates and cannot get the organizer to work for 2025.

What am I doing wrong?

The 2025 organizer is generated FROM 2024 (Upper Menu Bar > Tools> down to Organizer).

Is this how are you attempting to do it?

Thanks for reaching out and sharing your question about the 2025 tax organizer and the OBB Act changes.

The organizer Questionnaire has been updated to include some of the OBB-related changes. We added and modified a few questions in the Questionnaire to help capture issues that may need further discussion with the accountant.

At this time, no new fields have been added to the main organizer, as guidance from the IRS on how and where these items should be reported had not been provided. Development is continuing to monitor this, though there is currently no update on whether additional fields will be added.

You can't just add a "pending page" to the organizer with the stuff that you are unsure of just so preparers don't have to wait until April to send out organizers?
