2019 election for earned income and qualifying for EIC
Can anyone help me with this scenario. Client has no 2021 earned income. 2019 earned income is greater than 2021. Is client still eligible to elect to use 2019 income. Lacerte has a warning no earned income- support just wants me to over ride the diagnostic. Seems like client has to have some earned income in 2021 to qualify. Thoughts?
