1099-B INT DIV Tax Import gets me the 2024 (last year's) forms

As you can see from my posting history, I am finding the 1099 imports to be a major hassle this year. I cannot get Fidelity or Morgan Stanley to work at all (the pdf forms have been available for two weeks). I did get downloads from Schwab and Interactive Brokers: but they are the 2024 data! I rechecked the year of Lacerte and it says 2025.

Is this a gimmick to get me to pay Intuit to analyze scanned pdfs?

Sounds like you would have saved time just manually entering the 1099s into the software instead of repeatedly posting over the issue, but yeah, you paid for it and it should work.

It's a long story, but I will probably be filing on paper.

Yeah, that's I. I'm not a CPA, but a HNWI who (1) likes to do his own return and (2) files forms that aren't in consumer-grade tax software. Before I mail it, I have a CPA check it. I think he's loath to e-file for me, in case it's all botched. I tried to get an EFIN, but the IRS refused.
