Question
1040X needs to be switched to a regular 1040
After sending a 1040x IRS notified us that a client had not submitted an original 1040 and therefor we could not send an amended return. I have cleared all information in section 59 but it is still bold indicating it has still has data. What am I missing? Is there an option somewhere else that marks the return as amended?
