Business E-file Lacerte Shutdown Details
The IRS has announced Business e-file shutdown December 26 at 8:59 AM PST.
Lacerte 2022 & Lacerte 2023 Business e-file is scheduled to shutdown on December 21 at 6:00 PM PST. This is a bit earlier than IRS to allow any return submitted before this time to be acknowledged. In the meantime, you may continue to file your business returns. Lacerte will hold these filings until the IRS re-opens in January when these returns will be submitted to the IRS. The Business e-file go-live date in January has not been officially announced yet.
Lacerte 2021 Business e-file is scheduled to shutdown on December 20 at 9:00 PM PST. This is a bit earlier than IRS to allow all submitted returns to be acknowledged. As a reminder, 2021 will close permanently.
