Wrong amount pulled from Arkansas individual tax return
I had a client owing $9k to Arkansas for income taxes, via the AR TAX PMT form we identified $500 for payment, however the full amount was pulled from the client's bank account.
There is no place on the AR information form to identify how much you are willing to pay, you can only click that you want to electronically pay, nowhere on the info page does it say how much you are paying upon submission of the tax return (the IRS info page and the CA state info page has this feature), instead a new form is generated, "AR TAX PMT", where you can ID the amount to be paid... Turns out that form gets ignored as my client woke up to her bank account being depleted.
