Why does Vermont Form BI-476 "Business Income Tax Return For Residents Only" not exist in ProConnect?
I just got off the phone with Jordan from ProConnect support and he suggested I post here because I have a number of 1065 and 1120-S returns the are 100% based in Vermont and owned 100% by Vermont residents., meaning I should be able to file form BI-476, which is a simplified form, rather than have to include the allocation and apportionment form BI-477 and endure all of the e-file diagnostics and rejections I have been receiving for the last two years.
However, form BI-476 is not even available in ProConnect and I have been informed that there is no plan for it to be available any time soon.
Why not? This form has been in existence for a number of years and would make filing these types of returns much simpler.
