Why does Lacerte post an update in late Sept that asks if I want to roll my clients into 2024 folders?
Lacerte posts an update in late Sept each year. This update asks if you would like to roll over your client files to be ready for next tax season. I now have to answer no, for two weeks, while I finish 2023 taxes before the deadline. Until those returns on extension are finished, I am not ready to roll over the clients into 2024 folders. I would like Lacerte to post this update after October 15th. Do you feel the same?
