Watermarked CA Forms in Lacerte that are available from FTB
The disconnect between Lacerte products and the Franchise Tax Board forms leading to the continued watermarks on the 540, 541, 100, 100S, etc is ridiculous. Completely usable forms to paper file are available on the FTB website, so they are approved and ready. I pay through the nose for Lacerte and get this level of product? Maybe Lacerte is not the ridiculous one - maybe I am for continuing to pay more and more for a product that can't execute such a simple step. I don't use TurboTax for anything, but when I Googled the question, the response was that TurboTax has CA forms without watermarks ready to paper file. Are us Lacerte folks at the end of the line again?
