Want to E-file for Deceased Taxpayer who is not receiving a refund (no 1310 is needed).
Taxpayer is deceased but has no refund due (nor taxes owed). An error populates in the EF Info Worksheet and the only way to resolve is to turn off electronic submission. Customer service rep confirmed this. This simple return should be able to be e-filed without any hold up (a letter regarding the court representative is attached to the file). No 1310 is needed. But, attaching a blank 1310 does not make the error go away either. Please fix this error.
