Tax Owed/Refund Monitor in ProConnect

Way overdue. This has been in TurboTax forever and was in ProSeries forever.

I would like to see both a Federal refund monitor with State alongside. Red if they owe, green if a refund.

Let's roll!

Just a general comment.  Folks weren't 100 percent pleased with their prior tax product and after they make the switch to a new one, they want the new one to work like the old one.  It's a very common theme that pops up in the suggestion bin on a regular basis.

Just a general second comment. I don't want Proconnect to work like ProSeries - I want it to work better since it costs more.

And the refund meters Federal and State are enjoyed by 46 million people using TurboTax. Many of whom get it for free - even full service - before 3/31. 

I upgraded from ProSeries because as of 2022 it wouldn't import a W-2 like it did in 2014 and 2015. I wondered why they killed it for seven years, and I was a full service TurboTax expert in 2022. I'm thinking: wow - these folks are getting full service for free and I can import their W-2s, but I pay thousands and can't? I also like the TurboTax refund meters.

P.S. - the 2022 Intuit solution was for me to upgrade to Proconnect. They explained it as the pro version of TurboTax. The imports worked. Now I'd like the meters. A time saver rather than double checking the tax summary to see how things are rolling. 😀

And, while I don't want to oversimplify the programming task... just copy and paste the code from the TurboTax meters, tweak and we're done.
