state tax refund taxable on a 1041 with respect to prior year salt limitation
The program pro-formas a state tax refund for line 8 of the 1041, however it does not limit the amount to the 10,000 salt limitation deduction from the prior year. I was told that the program cannot do this. Can we at least get an informational diagnostic alerting us to this issue. Please and thank you.
