State Forms not ready 2 weeks into tax season!
While I am sure this had already been suggested this year, it is worth repeating. For the price of the Lacerte tax program, not being able to print a completed state return 2 weeks into tax season is unacceptable. None of my early filers can get a tax return in their hand when they sign their 8879's and per IRC code we must furnish a complete copy of the tax return to our clients prior to signatures and e-filing. 2 weeks is 1/6 of our entire season, and puts our firms at a major disadvantage to larger companies like HR Block and Turbotax. Please do better Intuit. This is about taking care of your customers and ensuring the product we pre-paid a large sum of money for is ready for the busiest season of our year. At the very least, we deserve more than a directory to a forms availability page and an explanation as to why our software isn't ready for it intended purpose.
