Reviewer Workpapers
It would be great if Lacerte had a Reviewer Workpaper that showed all current year user inputs on the tax return iso it is easy for the preparer or the reviewer to review to make sure the user input is correct.
For example each dividend input would show on the Reviewer Workpaper with columns for dividends ; qualified dividends ; capital gains ; Section 199 ; Foreign Tax ; US Bonds. I realize the worksheets have some of this information but it would be great to have it all there for easy review. It would save a great deal of times when reviewing tax returns to make sure user input is correct.
This could be done for all of current year user inputs and make reviewing so much easier as opposed to having to go to each form to verify the user input is correct. For example now you have to add up the Section 199 dividends for multiple brokerage statements to make sure it is correct on Form 8995. The Reviewer Workpaper could have this listed out and be easily reviewed for accuracy.
