Remove or Change Section 179 Diagnostic on HVAC and Roofs
Section 179 is allowed on HVAC units and roofs for 39-year property. This should not come out as a critical diagnostic from Lacerte. Perhaps an informational diagnostic would be appropriate, or create a check box within the fixed asset input screen to say "Yes, this is a roof or HVAC unit eligible for 179 treatment" so that the diagnostic can be avoided. It causes staff to search for solutions to problems that don't exist.
