Be nice to have the ability to key in a referred person so we can thank or compensate our clients based on the information captured.

You could place a not in the Contents page.  Note  >  Click and Hold    >  Drag to left column and drop

I get a lot of referrals but forget some.  The special ones I remember and take to lunch.

You could use a NOTE, or keep a record in Quick Books or another way. I kept a spreadsheet with all the clients' info, so I had it marked that way.

I also gave existing clients a 10% of their referral's fee for THE NEXT YEAR'S tax season and recorded it as a credit in QB as of 01/01/next year.  Then I gave them a coupon with next year's Organizer.

EG, this new client's fee is $400, so the existing client's coupon was $40.
