Reference ID number on Screen 69 of Partnership module
Lacerte does not proforma these reference numbers from year to year, instead overrides the previous years ID number with the word "Common". And therefore they have to be re-entered every year which is terribly time consuming for clients with multiple PFIC reporting. I work on a client that has 70 PFIC'S that I have to re-enter every year and then a manager has to spend time checking this information. A total waste of our time.
