Providing Customer Account Number in Chat Requires Manual Spacing

In the latest edition of ProSeries chat (Assistant), when asked for the Customer Account Number, it provides it to the agent as X's, which neither he nor I can read. Now I have to enter it and then enter spaces between each number. This is not user friendly! Prior editions had no issue in sending the number to the agent.

Well. isn't that special! How dumb why would they xxx your customer account number...don't they trust their employees. It isn't a SSN...I would be curious enough to ask the agent or supervisor for the reasoning behind this, obviously, stupid rule.
