Proseries needs to support additional Iowa Business Forms for Electronic Filing
The Iowa Department of Revenue has moved to a Modernized e-File system that requires electronic filing for businesses that earn over $250k in gross receipts. Proseries needs to support additional Iowa Business Forms for electronic filing to match their other tax preparation products. Intuit already supports e-filing multiple Iowa business forms on ProConnect Tax Online and Lacerte. The Iowa Department of Revenue has informed my clients that paper filing is not an option and has denied exception requests stating the tax software's inability to e-file is not an excuse. If Proseries does not start supporting the same Iowa forms as their other software and competitors, my tax preparation office will be going elsewhere.
