The error is now based on duplicate ssns rather than unique eins. why do we now have to file all extra smllcs on paper. the program feels like it is going backwards going back to paper.   Why can't proseries file multiple smllcs without having to make copies of the original file multiple times.    This seems like an easy programmable code fix.

Is this for a 1040 client and the SMLLC's have not elected out of the default filing status? If yes, each SMLLC is filed on a separate Form 1040 Sch C Profit or Loss from Business (Sole Proprietorship). They are all part of the same 1040 return.

To get file more Sch C's in the same 1040 return, when you are in the first Sch C, you can press Ctrl+F6, then select Create new copy at the bottom of the window that pops up.

All the best! --Kelvin
