Proposal for a Configurable Delay Feature in E-file Submissions

I've observed a common human tendency: noticing mistakes immediately after completing a task. This is frequent with emails, forum posts, instant messages, and also E-file submissions. Recognizing this, many communication platforms now allow users to recall or edit their messages post-send. Similarly, I propose adding a configurable delay feature to E-file submissions. This would enable users to review and recall their submissions if needed within the delayed period, reducing errors and improving overall satisfaction.

Can't be done. It's an IRS thing.

Used to be able to do that with some software when IRS had specific  drain times when they pulled efiled returns. Intuit software didn't allow. (But there was one poster here who said she could recall returns cause she had some special power).

The more I know the more I don’t know.

Ah... Laura. I do miss her special powers /S

I can count on one hand the returns I've sent then wanted to recall. In fact , one finger.

Actually, I have seen a couple of other posts (on different forums) from more reliable sources that have said that PPS does have the ability to yank returns from the system if it hasn't been processed yet.
