Prior Year Worksheets in ProConnect - please make it digital

Currently the prior year worksheets are in pdf format- often requiring the taxpayer to print, fill out manually, then upload to tax preparer. Please make it possible to allow the taxpayer to fill this out online and submit electronically.

Also,  I need to create prior year worksheets from the data that I entered in prior year from a tax returns which has been prepared by another tax preparer and I didn't e-filed in Proconnect. Plus its good to be able to generate anytime you need it, imagine if you delete the one which has been saved under document, then you'll not be able to generate again! 

(This is on the software now : A PDF organizer including last year's amounts will be generated.
Available for clients whose prior year individual return was e-filed in ProConnect Tax.
An organizer can be generated only once per return.
)

 

I am hoping Proconnnect can improve these three following items:

1- create prior year worksheets in a fill-able pdf format

2- generate prior year worksheets even-though you haven't e-filed in Proconnect, but all data has been entered in prior year (like Lacerte)

3- generate organizer/prior year worksheets more than once if needed to.

Hello,

Recommendation 1 - I need to create prior year worksheets from the data that I've entered in prior year taxes from a tax returns which has been prepared by another tax preparer (means I didn't e-filed in Proconnect) but this feature doesn't work if you didn't e-file the returns in Proconnect.

Recommendation 2 -  its good to be able to generate prior year worksheets anytime you need it, imagine if you delete the one which has been saved under document, then you'll not be able to generate again!

Recommendation 3 - currently the prior year worksheets are in pdf format - requiring the taxpayer to print, fill out manually, then upload to tax preparer. Please make it possible to allow the taxpayer to fill this out online and submit electronically.

Recommendation 4 - I first went into 2025 tax returns and under Batch Actions "Created Prior Year Workpapers". When I go and look for the Tax Organizer created under an individual client, it is showing up under the "Firm Documents", not the "Shared Documents". This results in my clients not being able to view the Tax Organizer and you can not drag it to Shared Documents. Unless I go through the tedious task of downloading it to my computer from the Firm Documents folder and then uploading it to the Shared Document folder for each client.

I am hoping Proconnnect can improve these four following items:
