Please remove states from amended return dropdown in proseries basic if they are not available to be filed. And the diagnostic should indicate such, not "no matching federal return can be found". This sent me on a wild goose chase for 2 days
ProSeries Basic:
States not available to e-file amended returns (specifically Kansas) should not show in drop down for amended state filing.
The resulting diagnostic when attempting to e-file reads "no linked federal return is available". This is a totally different message than "state not available for efile". Please correct this.
