Please add Indiana Schedule INK-1 (EF Only) for Partnership and S-Corporation Modules
PLEASE add the same "Indiana Schedule INK-1 (EF Only)" input, that you have for individuals, to the Passthrough Entity input screen for the Fiduciary, Partnership, and S-Corporation modules.
The Indiana Department of Revenue will NOT process a PDFs attached to a trust, partnership, or S-Corporation. This is a big issue as Pass-Through Entity Tax has become very popular.
We have trusts, partnerships, and S-Corps that receive K-1s from other entities reporting taxes withheld or paid (PTE) on their behalf.
The Indiana Department of Revenue has told us multiple times they will not accept a PDF attachment for these pass-through credits. They want a Sch IN K-1 to be part of the return just like Lacerte already does in the individual module. If you have ever had to call the corporate department of the IDR, you know it is not a pleasant conversation.
