Pass thru of 1098-T information to state
Once we fill in the information on the 1098-T and enter it in the federal program I do not know why the program will not carry that information any further than the federal program and require the preparer to re-enter said information in a different format on the state return. Yes - we are responsible for carrying the information accurately but that is what a computer program should do whenever possible.
