Pass through entity details in client letter
In all applicable modules the client letter should include additional details regarding the Pass Through Entity Tax (PTE)
The client letter includes the current year PTE balance due and the first installment for the next year PTE. It should also include the second installment and the due date (12/31/20XX)so the taxpayer will get the deduction in the tax year related to the payments
This will save a lot of time and energy in remembering to remind clients and calling or emailing clients. It will also help minimize missed payments and penalties
