Please add Oregon critical diagnositic indicating Oregon will reject efiling if the business name is missing on any line on this form. The return I efiled did not have a business name on all lines of this form and was rejected.
The return was efiled on 4/17/23 and rejected on 4/18/23. It was corrected on 4/19/23 and accepted by Oregon on 4/19/23. This form is an election that can only be made on a timely filed return. In my client's case the election saved them $10,000 in Oregon taxes.
Lacerte support staff has assured me that the return was timely filed on the postmarked date of 4/17/23. Let's hope they are correct.
