MISCELLANEOUS STATEMENT is an optional feature available in the #1040 Proseries. I have been using for many years for a client that we insert ALPHA information in the first field and NUMERIC information in the second field. Every year when we transfer the client file ONLY the ALPHA information gets transferred AND the numeric information is NOT TRANSFERRED. That numeric information SHOULD ALSO be transferred. Right now this client I have information on this particular going back to more than ten years AND every year we have to updated the numeric info.
