Lacerte "Full Year Resident" box Screen 1 Proforma
When there is a multi-state resident in Year 1, after the client is proforma'd to Year 2, Lacerte does not automatically check the "Full Year Resident" box. It would be a good idea for Lacerte to make checking this box a default upon proforma to Year 2 based on the state selected as "Resident State as of 12/31" in Year 1. Alternatively, if the box is not checked, Lacerte should have a diagnostic indicating that the "Full Year Resident" box is not checked. If there are solutions to this issue, please respond!
