Lacerte download file location
On a local download, Lacerte defaults to C:\Tax\[YR]tax... if that location is not your desired file directory, there will be cleanup after the download. It appears the download is required to be sent to C:\Tax\[YR]tax; changing the location at the time of download is not available, even though a CHANGE button is shown. An easy solution is to download the program (to C:\Tax\[YR]tax) and once loaded, open the particular Lacerte program desired, access the System File Path under Settings / System File Path, and change the path to the desired location...
