It would be helpful to have to have a way for the client to notify the preparer that they are done answering questions and uploading documents. The notification from the client should be immediate.

Now I see that the client can go to the main screen and click I am done which generates an email. Not everyone is savvy with computers. The client needs to know how to navigate back to the main page to mark it done. It would be better to have a done button at the end of the to do list and or the documents list. I would also suggest showing the questions in list view to start instead of individual view.

You can lead a horse to water…..Some clients will figure it out… some won’t… in my invitation i ask everyone to send me an email when they’re done uploading… that doesn’t always work either

you’ll also find out that some clients can’t figure out the drop down for tax year….

If at first you don’t succeed…..find a workaround

Thanks for the suggestion. I was think along the lines of having them send an email too. I am hoping Intuit can make it a little easier.
