Import prior year tax return PDF on the Create Tax Return screen
Hello and thank you for creating the ability to import a prior year tax return PDF into ProConnect for a new client. I just have one huge problem with the location for import being on the Create a New Client screen. I use Intuit Link for all my client communications and to share documents, and I need the import a prior year tax return to be on the Create Tax Return screen, as I do NOT have the prior year tax return at the point I am creating the client. My process is as follows: 1)Create new client, 2)Send client portal link, 3)Client uploads prior year tax return and new tax documents 4)Create tax return for the new tax year. So I need the Import prior tax return PDF to be on Step 4 above instead of Step 1. Thank you so much for your assistance and consideration!
