Guidance on how to move all my Tax Years to a new server?

I would like to know the steps (process) to migrate to a new server

Back up the data. Install the software on new server. Restore data.

Or get your IT people to write a script/get a program that will copy everything from old server to new server.

The more I know the more I don’t know.
